About Sandi

Having obtained my real estate broker's license in 1966, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every transaction. I grew up in West Newton, Sandra Shane, the daughter of doctor and a businesswoman who owned beauty salons and a school. I attended Franklin Elementary, Day Junior High, and Newton High School, then went on to study at C.W. Post College. My early experiences working for the first pre-washed jean company in the garment industry and for a computer company with one of the first PCs sparked my interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. During the 1970s, I managed a large rental complex and gained confidence in real estate. That experience was eye-opening, and a major coup when I converted many of the units to condos and sold them before the market went haywire.

I was proud to purchase my first home in West Newton, and later lived in Waban for twelve years. By the late 1980s, I was establishing a strong career in residential real estate in Newton, including selling 15 condo conversion units on Highland Street in Newtonville. I went on to work with prominent individuals and notable organizations, such as representing CAN-DO in procuring houses to provide affordable housing.

I enjoy working with buyers and sellers throughout Massachusetts, bringing them the knowledge and experience that comes from practicing my trade for so many years. I am dedicated to providing accurate information so that my clients can make informed decisions. I’m fortunate to have gained many satisfied clients who have shown their trust by referring their own family and friends over the years. Thus, my business is based on about 95% referrals. However, new clients are always welcome. I am as concerned and delighted with the satisfaction of the client who is purchasing a small condo as I am with a multi-million dollar house.
