Kicking off at 10:00am on Sunday, May 21, 2023, this 17th annual family-friendly festival is organized by the Waban Improvement Society. Ed Johnston and John Lynch, owners of Waban-based Dwell360 Real Estate, are excited to participate in the community celebration.
What can you expect?
Family Fun Run: The day starts with the 3-mile Family Fun Run, open to racers of all ages, including children on bikes and scooters and walkers with strollers. Be sure to pre-register at the link above!
Games, Rides, and Amusements: More fun awaits in Waban Village with games and rides for kids of all ages.
Food: Fun food and ice cream treats can also be found in Waban Square.
Music: Young musicians from the Susuki School of Newton will perform at 11:00am, followed by jazz, blues, and swing from the Boston-based band Annie and the Fur Trappers.
Vendor Tables: Look for the Dwell360 purple tent for special summer giveaways!

PorchFest is an afternoon of free outdoor music. Artists will be performing live across the villages of Auburndale, Lower Falls, and Waban in Newton, Massachusetts. This year more than 70 homes have volunteered their porch, yard, or stoop as performance space - including Dwell360 Real Estate! There will be more than 100 bands performing throughout the day on Saturday, June 3, 2023, with a rain date of Sunday, June 4, 2022. Come out and enjoy!
